Mr/Miss Deaf Teen America Pageant

The Mr. /Miss Deaf Teen America (DTA) Pageant is now in its tenth year of existence, thus the theme, “The Celestial Decade.” The Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) is delighted to host it on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 7 p.m. in Theatre Malz on the campus of Gallaudet University.

Deaf teenagers, ages 13-19, from schools and programs for deaf students across the United States will participate in this special event. The national co-ed pageant is a great opportunity for the participants to display their talents, leadership skills, and intelligence, as well as their fellowship and congeniality. They will have an educational, well-balanced, and fun experience while meeting new and old friends. Please visit our website to learn more about the DTA Pageant: http://clerccenter.gallaudet.edu/DeafTeenAmerica.
