WOULD YOU LIKE TO BAKE SOME COOKIES FOR THE HOLIDAY? Well you are in LUCK!!!! KPTA (Kendall PTA) has several extra tubs of Otis Spunkmeyer cookies available. The cookies are delicious and you do not have to worry about scooping out the dough. Just place the readily portioned dough on a cookie sheet and BAKE! If you would like to order a tub or a sheet of already baked brownies, please send an e-mail to Tara Downing at tara.downing@gallaudet.edu and you will be sure to get your cookies delivered to you right away! The cost??? $14. You can make a payment in cash or check payable to KPTA. Here is what is available now:

Team 678...

Team 678 is in need of your help. We would like to celebrate and congratulate all those students who worked so hard during the first quarter and made the honor roll. We will be having a special lunch with them on Friday, January 11 from 11:45 - 12:30. However, because it is truly something that needs to be celebrated with the whole team we find ourselves with limited supervision for our lunch period for those students who did not make honor roll.Therefore, we are asking for your help. We need 5 volunteers to supervise lunch. This consists of sitting with the students, chatting with them and seeing all the wonderful things our students have to offer. OK OK OK I know you are seeing right through me. Really...we are just asking for about 45 minutes of time so that you can enjoy the amazing children we get to enjoy everyday :-) If you would like to spend time with our students Friday January 11 from 11:45 - 12:30 please let Lisa Pershan know at lisa.pershan@gallaudet.edu.

Reminder for We Care Holiday Project

**REMINDER REMINDER**

The holidays are just around the corner, approaching fast… And there are still snowflakes waiting to be plucked from the “angel tree.”

Make a child’s wish come true and your heart fill with warmth, ign up to give this holiday year.

Thank you for your interest in donating to We Care! There are several ways you can donate to We Care. You may write a check, payable to We Care Fund and give it to Alison Aubrecht at MSSD or Cynthia Hunt at KDES.

You may also go choose a snowflake from our holiday tree (located near counselor’s offices at MSSD and in Student Services area at KDES). Each snowflake represents a student who will receive a gift. Each snowflake has a number on it as well as a description of the gift that a student has requested. We are encouraging people to buy a gift, wrap it, and bring it to MSSD (Alison’s office) or KDES (Tara Downing’s office). If you are interested in becoming a snowflake donor, please see the counselors for more nformation.

Other gifts are welcome: toys, mittens, hats, coats, boots, scarves, and more.

Your donation will assist our students and their families. Thank you for your support!

KPTA Annual Winter Festival

KPTA will host an KPTA Annual Winter Festival in our Cafeteria on Saturday, Dec. 15th, 12:00-3:00 pm. We will provide games, storytelling, performances, arts/crafts and a deaf Santa Claus.

Please bring a potluck covered dish following your child’s last name.
A-H Casseroles/Side Dishes; I-P Meat Dishes; Q-Z Salads/Veggies/Fruit Platters. KPTA will provide desserts and drinks. Come and join the fun!
