The fax machine in Central File Room is no longer operating (nbr: 202-651-5101). From now on, we will use the fax machine in Room 2104 (across from front office). The fax nbr is 202-651-5646. You can send faxes through that machine and receive faxes as well.

December Connections Newsletter

The next 2006-07 Connections issue will come out in December. Connections has a regular feature, Highlights, which will include training-related activities during October, November, and December.

I need to know if anyone from Clerc Center has done or will be doing the following outside of Clerc Center:

Presenting a workshop
Conducting a training session
Guest Speaker at a college undergraduate or graduate class
Member of a national conference planning committee
Teaching an online course
Teaching a course outside of Clerc Center

Please include details such as title of training/class/committee, dates, location, who hosted the event, and who it was for.

I would appreciate getting the information by this Friday, December 1.

Teacher Staff Organization Meeting

ALL TEACHERS AND STAFF: We will be having a teacher/staff meeting for the new Teacher Staff Organization (TSO) tomorrow, Thursday November 2, at 3:05 in the SST conference room. We will be discussing how we want to run the TSO and possible activities TSO will host. In general we want to discuss how we can raise the morale here at KDES. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Technology Training for Teachers and Staff- Flickr

Flickr is an online image management and photo sharing application where you can store, sort, search and share your photos online. There is a huge mass of photos in the world, and Flickr provides a way to organize yours. Flickr is free and its fun! Come to this training to learn what Flickr is all about and how you can use it to manage your photos.
