Please note that the newspapers provided on the 4th floor are intended for the 4th floor residents. Apparently they are provided under a special arrangement for those Gallaudet students. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Announcements Oct. 19
Tomorrow is the last day for school pictures (make up and class pictures) from 9:00 to 12;00 pm. For all teachers and staff, please have your individual pictures taken tomorrow so that your pictures can be included in our new year book. You don't have to keep them nor pay for them. We want your pictures in the yearbook.
Wow, what a great experience that was yesterday with Coach Jordan and the players of the Washington Wizards! Did you know that also all signed 5 books, 3 of which were donated to the teams and 2 to the Library. Let's keep that momentum going to encourage our students to "Read to Achieve".
I want to inform you that a project is planned to make a video via the Gallaudet Counseling Center (not a Kendall Project). However, they are looking for children (age 5-12) and adults who might be good actors. If you think of any students or some adults you know might be good candidates to star in this project, please suggest them to me, or Dr. Bill Kachman (William Kachman@gallaudet.edu) at Gallaudet's Mental Health Center. I have more details if you want them.
Thanks,
Don

Students are preparing to teach each player how to spell their name and to sign the team slogan: One Team, One Goal.
Following the reading portion of the event, players will demonstrate some basketball techniques and close with autograph signing for the students. Teachers and staff on Teams 1/2/3, 4/5 and 6/7/8 are invited to attend.
Please give the Wizards your best Clerc Center welcome!
