Red Ribbon Week
When: October 22-26th
Red Ribbon Week serves as a vehicle for communities and individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention and education and a personal commitment to live drug free lives with the ultimate goal being the creation of drug free America.
Things to look out for:
· Silicon bracelets will be passed out to everyone
· Encourage your students to wear red on Friday the 26th
· Posters in the hallway, cafeteria, and team areas
· Discuss with your students about staying healthy and being drug free
· MSSD’s Peer Mediators will be giving a skit to Team 4-8 on Friday from 10:50 to 12:00. Team 123 is also welcome to join. There will be a Q/A session after the skit.
· The counselors and psychologist will be cleaning up the Promise Garden this week.
There are PLENTY of silicon bracelets – if you are interested in wearing one and showing your support for Red Ribbon Week, please see Cynthia Hunt for your bracelet!
"COME WITH ME AND BE DRUG FREE"
Thanks for all of your hard work and effort in making sure our students stay safe and drug free!
