Announcements - May 15th
Our students (Teams 1 through 8) will be taking SAT-10 starting this Monday, May 15th through next Wednesday, May 24th. SAT testing will happen every morning so we ask that you please NOT visit the teams every morning until after 10:30 a.m. Our students need to remain focused on the test with no interruptions. Some students are also taking the test individually in offices (such as the Team Leader, counselor, family educator, etc.) therefore please also try not to stop by their offices until after 10:30 a.m. J
Thank you!

Looking for an owner…. In years past we had a wooden sculpture of “Hands” near the entrance to our auditorium at Kendall. Eventually it fell into disrepair, and was un-assembled. If anyone knows the source of this “sculpture” or would like to claim it, please contact me. We need to remove it asap. (it is easily re-assembled – just 2 pieces).
Thanks,
Don Mahoney
The Coolz Kidz Rulez yard sale is up and ready! Please feel free to stop by and shop in Lisa’s classroom (2401) between the hours of 1pm – 3pm daily. We have toys, clothes, baskets and many other things. So come support team 1/2/3! We are still accepting donations as well so if you have anything you would like to donate we will be more than happy to accept.
Thanks,
Lisa’s class

This Thursday, May 18, is KHSO’s annual Spring Fever Picnic for KDES Families. The picnic will be held on the KDES pavilion area. We have many activities in store for EVERYONE including 2 moon bounces, tug-o-war, line-dancing, etc. This year KHSO is asking teachers and staff who plan on attending the picnic if they can DONATE a DESSERT. Also, this is just a reminder that there will be an Open House from 3-4 that same day for parents to visit the teams (if their child will move to another team). We hope to see many of you there!
Tara J Downing, M.A.
