Tech Basics
If you are looking for a form or service, a great resource is the Information for Clerc Center Personnel webpage where you can find links to iepPro, parent-student handbooks, PowerSchool, Tuition Waiver forms, etc.
WebMail
As some of you may have noticed new and improved Gallaudet WebMail. Here is a video of how to get into the WebMail and access their video demonstrations on how to use new Gallaudet WebMail.
Passwords
It is recommended for security reasons that you reset your passwords every 3 months. I am guilty since have not changed my password in over a year! You can go to Passwords Reset webpage to reset your Campus and GDOC. At Gallaudet, you have a Campus password for logging into computers, email and Bison (Student Information System) and a GDOC password for the Blackboard, HelpDesk, and Media Requests.
HelpDesk
For your technology service requests (such as computer repair, technology training, software installation, printer set up, etc) please submit a request to the HelpDesk. Log in with your GDOC password and complete the required fields. Be sure that you select "Computers: Clerc Center Teachers and Staff" in the Service field. It is critical that all teachers and staff use HelpDesk for any technology related service. It helps CCTS keep track of requests and to respond to your needs in a quick and efficient manner. It also helps those with challenged short term memory (me!) to follow up on requests.
AV Media requests
If you are planning a meeting in a conference room or presentation in auditorium and need a projector, screen and laptop, go to Clerc Center AV Media Services to request technology equipment and set up.
TecEds Lab
The TecEds labs at KDES and MSSD are available for classes, trainings, and meetings. Please go here and click on "Request Room" log in with campus password to reserve this room. Please allow 24 hours for response to your request.
H drive and Storage
Every employee and student has access to their own "Home" drive which is 500 MB of server space. Go to "My Computer" and you should see 'nas\home'(H:) where you can store your files. To access your H: drive at home go to http://storage.gallaudet.edu/ and read the instructions before you login.
